Biography:
Anthony Olsen is a consultant specialising in electronic banking and financial services regulation. He was most recently the UK Legal Director of PayPal where for the prior 6 years he managed the legal affairs of the PayPal business in the UK. During his time at PayPal he was lead counsel in a variety of matters ranging from advising on PayPal’s European expansion, global processing agreements, financial and innovation products as well as leading PayPal’s implementation of the Payment Services Directive.
Before working at PayPal, Anthony was an associate at Bird & Bird law firm in London, and prior to that, a lawyer at Mallesons Stephen Jaques, Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW, Sydney.
